
Worcester, MA- After a come from behind performance versus Salem State that would see Men’s Soccer grab the 3-3 tie, senior Mal Hawkins (View Park, CA) has claimed the MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week selection.
Hawkins registered two goals, including the game tying score for the Lancers. With the team down 3-1, Hawkins found the back of the net twice in two minutes to settle the game at 3 all. On the season, he has been an integral offensive piece, recording six goals and one registered assist, but played vital roles in numerous other goals as he assisted in working the ball up the field. He has 13 points on the season and is shooting at .500 or on cage percentage on the season.
Worcester State is back in action on Thursday when the welcome Keene State to Coughlin in their second to last game of the regular season. Kick off is set for 7pm.
