Lough, Harrington along with second-year classmate Kim Jodoin (Pittsfield, MA) and Sarah Picard (W. Springfield, MA) all registered a trio of ground balls.

Sophomore Haley Erickson (Saugus, MA) stopped four of the six shots she saw on net as senior keeper Krystyna Gagne (Methuen, MA) made 14 stops between the pipes for the Blazers. MacIntyre sent in three of the first six goals over the opening 10 minutes of play as the Lancers cruised to a 12-0 lead at the intermission. After Amanda Cosenza put WSC up 13-0 early on in the second stanza, Elms broke the shutout on Harrington’s sixth marker of the season at 22:18.

Worcester State then used the running clock and a possession offense to score three goals in a seven minute span to lead 15-1 at 15:13.  Lough helped the Blazers score their second tally of the game at 7:05 before WSC’s defense buckled down and kept Elms inside their own zone for the remainder of the contest.
