Women's Lacrosse Has Spotless Record on Spring Break Trip

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women's Lacrosse team wrapped up their Spring Break trip with another big win, claiming the 22-13 victory over Emerson College. Graduate student Clare Conway led the day with 8 goals and two assists on the day.

The Lancers kept it close in the first quarter scoring five goals in the quarter while only allowing three. They really opened it up in the second, recording seven goals to bring it 12-5 at the half. Coming out for the third quarter the Lancers slowed down their production as Emerson picked up some of the attacking momentum scoring six goals to Worcester States four in the third. The fourth quarter brought back the offensive production for the Lancers as they notched another six goals to wrap settle at their 22 goals.

The Lancers found success today on the clears from their defense going 13-15 on the afternoon, which was a large piece to their offensive success in the game.

Worcester State (2-2) is back in action on March 21st as they host Western New England in a 5pm start.
