Deb Draper enters her tenth year at the helm as the head coach of the women’s lacrosse program.

In each of the last three seasons, the Blue and Gold have tied the school record for wins in a season posting a trio of campaigns with 13 wins. During the 2014 campaign, the Lancers went 13-5 with a 5-1 mark in MASCAC play appearing in the league finals and ECAC Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship game.

Coach Draper originally assumed the position after a seven-year stint at Division II Assumption. In her first year as head coach in 2007, the Lancers posted a 12-6 record, finished the year in the NEWLA finals and earned a spot in the semifinals of the ECAC Tournament.

While at coaching at Worcester State, the Lancers have also made NEWLA semifinals three times, the MASCAC semifinals on five occasions and the ECAC Tournament in 2008, 2009 and 2013.

Coach Draper was also the head coach of the WPI club team from 1989 through 2004 and she also has coached the Boston Women’s Lacrosse team and the New England Women’s Lacrosse squad. In 1991, she was the coach of the USWLA Division II Divisional Champions.

Coach Draper is a 1980 graduate of Bridgewater State, where she was a four-year standout goalie for the women’s lacrosse and field hockey teams.
