WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University’s freshman goalkeeper, Jill Zinkus (Grafton, Mass.) earned the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) rookie of the week award for her performance in this past week’s 2-2 draw with Wheaton College.
Throughout the game, Zinkus registered eight saves for a .800 save percentage and held a 1.64 goals against average in 110 minutes played.
The women’s soccer team returns to action tomorrow (Sep. 5) when they travel to MIT for a 7p.m. non-conference game.
