“Speaking on behalf of the team, I think we’re all excited for the season and to be playing together again. With majority of the team being upperclassmen, I think we’re well experienced and ready to face any challenges this year” says junior, Amanda Cosco. “We had an amazing season last year, have been working hard in the off season, and I can’t wait to see our team and individual growth this upcoming season!”

Feeding off these amazing accomplishments, we put in lots of work in this spring offseason and will continue to power through the summer so we can come back even stronger and better than before. Adding a solid incoming class to our versatile roster will only enhance our ability to bring the championship home!”

October will lead off with the Lancers hosting the Bridgewater State Bears in a late afternoon homecoming battle on October 4th to close out the action of the weekend. The 8th will put Worcester back on the road, this time to Roger Williams before a mid-month double home game stretch to close out their home regular season schedule. The final three games of the season will find the Lancers hitting the road with trips to Salem State on the 18th, UMass-Dartmouth on the 25th and a season closer at new addition Anna Maria on November 1st.

“There’s a real sense of belief within the team this year” proclaims Enos. “We’ve got the experience, the chemistry, and the work ethic to make something special happen. A lot of us have been through the highs and lows together, and that’s built a level of trust and resilience that you can’t teach. We know what it takes to compete at a high level, and we’re ready to push for a deep run into the playoffs. Everyone’s bought in, we’re hungry, focused, and ready to make our mark this season.”

Condon added, “With the amount of talent and experience this roster has, I fully believe this team is going to have a season for the record books. Our commitment to each other and to our goals is what sets us apart. I am so lucky to lead such an amazing group of girls who, day in and day out, show grit and put in hard work to help this team succeed.”
