NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Worcester State University women's track & field team has been named an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Worcester State was one of 209 teams at the Division III level to receive the honor. 

To be eligible for the award, the cumulative team grade point average of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility must be at least a 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester. Worcester State achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.435.

MASCAC rivals Bridgewater State and Westfield State were also among the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honorees.
