WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University’s senior goalkeeper, Vanessa O’Donnell (Worcester, Mass.) was tabbed the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women’s soccer player of the week as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.

This past week, O’Donnell marked a career-high 14 saves in the Lancers’ 0-0 draw with Westfield State.

So far this season, O’Donnell is 5-6-1 and has recorded four shutouts in the 2016 campaign.

The Lancers’ next women’s soccer game is on Saturday (Oct. 22) when they will honor their seniors at John F. Coughlin Field prior to a 12:00 noon start against Salem State.
