7 Student-Athletes Named to the 2022 Fall MASCAC Sportsmanship Teams

Worcester, Mass. – Worcester State University had seven selected to the 2022 Fall MASCAC Sportsmanship Teams in their respective sports. The student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship.

The MASCAC Sportsmanship Team is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each team, in every sport that best demonstrates the values of the MASCAC and its Sportsmanship Statement, regardless of their overall performance or statistics for the season.  

The sports that are represented on the fall team are men's and women's cross country, football, men's golf, men's and women's soccer and volleyball. A student-athlete from each institution is selected by their coach to be placed on the Sportsmanship Team.  

The selections for Worcester State are Daniel Clark for Men's Cross Country, Jillian Bolster for Women's Cross Country, Logan Sylvester for Football, Jack Ryan for Men's Golf, Becca Cormier for Women's Soccer, Declan Ryder for men's Soccer and Megan Bardis for Volleyball.

"I want to applaud the 55 student-athletes from across the seven teams who were recognized on the 2022 Fall MASCAC Sportsmanship Team", Commissioner Angela Baumann said. "These student-athletes exemplified exceptional sportsmanship values which are very important to our conference. We are honored to recognize these individuals for exhibiting these honorable traits."
