
Worcester, MA --- From Monday, April 6 through Sunday, April 12, the Worcester State University Athletics Department will join other institutions around the country by embracing its identity during Division III Week.
Division III Week is an opportunity for all individuals associated with Division III to observe and celebrate the positive impact of student-athletes on campus and the surrounding community. Approximately one out of every 10 undergraduates at Worcester State is a student-athlete, all competing for the sports they love while balancing busy academic schedules, jobs and other commitments throughout the year.
Many excel in the classroom, demonstrate outstanding leadership and are engaged in community service activities. Worcester State will join nearly 450 schools and conferences in celebrating these great accomplishments.
Five feature stories during the week will also highlight different student-athletes who make their own mark on the WSU athletics department.
The Worcester State University Athletics Department a proud member of Division III and is excited to encourage student-athletes to discover their potential, develop their passions and dedicating themselves to academic success on and off the playing field.
