2016 IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll Announced

WORCESTER, Mass. - Two Worcester State University women’s lacrosse student-athletes were named to the 2016 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll.

 

Senior Business Administration major, Katelyn Murphy (Billerica, Mass.) and junior Psychology major, Alaina Martin (E. Longmeadow, Mass.) both were recognized for their academic success.

 

“Alaina and Katelyn are extremely hard workers on and off the field,” commented head coach Kelly Downs.  “They have been great role models for the underclassmen in demonstrating the full moto of student-athlete.”

 

The IWLCA honored student-athletes from 149 different institutions with inclusion in the 2016 IWLCA Zag Sports Division II Academic Honor Roll. In order to be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
