Worcester, MA --- At the halftime of Thursday's women's basketball game against Westfield State, 20 student-athletes in attendance were officially recognized for being selected to the 2010 MASCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

To be named to the MASCAC Fall Academic Team, a student-athlete must have either a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or have a 3.2 grade point average in their semester of competition. It was decided by the conference atheltic directors at their annual meeting to restart the policy of handing out certificates to deserving student-athletes.

Seniors who were not present at the ceremony will be given their certificates at the Senior Awards Banquet in May.

Worcester State had the second-most honorees in the conference with 68 student-athletes from eight different teams.
