Lancers Baseball Announce 2024 Schedule

Worcester, MA- Second season Head Coach, Phil Price, is pleased to announce the 2024 Worcester State Baseball teams regular season schedule. The Lancers are looking to return to MASCAC postseason action after qualifying for play in Price’s first season. The Blue and Gold will have a depth of incoming talent to go along with their experienced veteran returners headed up by senior captain Ben Smith (Bourne, MA), the 2022 NCAA Statistical ERA leader, junior captain Tyler Smith (Leominster, MA) and senior captain Tom Halliwell (Leominster, MA).

“I’m really excited about the 2024 season,” says Price.  “The new guys we brought in have added some energy to an already electric group. The players have created a great culture here. They genuinely enjoy being together as often as possible - off the field as much as on it. With the schedule we put together, we certainly have work to do, but the focus and dedication from the guys this off-season has been inspiring. Can’t wait to get on the field with them.”

The Lancers are scheduled to start their season at the start of March, in a pre-spring break battle, at the New England Baseball Complex on Saturday March 2nd when they welcome the Wheaton Lyons to the diamond.
