Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Baseball team has been awarded their first MASCAC weekly honors of the season as first year Ryan Jewett (Natick, MA) was named this weeks MASCAC Rookie of the Week.

Jewett was Batted .357 (5-14) with a double, triple, four RBI, six runs scored and two stolen bases in a 3-2 week for the Lancers. Went 4-for-7 with a double, triple, two stolen bases, four RBI and four runs scored in the doubleheader split with MCLA.

Worcester State is in action at home tomorrow as they play as the away team versus Westfield State in a nine-inning matchup that was rescheduled from last Friday at Westfield State.
