Sophomore Ebenezer Ankomah Gyau (Worcester, MA) intercepted a pass from Dartmouth's Dante Aviles-Santos early in the 3rd Quarter and returned it 23yds into the endzone for Worcester's first touchdown of the game. Sophomore kicker Santiago Rodriguez-D'Atri (Leominster, MA) made the extra point to bring the score to 35-7.
Worcester got back in the endzone late in the 4th Quarter. Sophomore wide receiver Deion Osei-Sarpong (Holden, MA) caught a 25yd pass from Graduate Quarterback Aaron-Moses Williams (Springfield, MA). Osei-Sarpong also led the Lancers with 44 receiving yards.
Williams finished with 10 completed passes out of 20 attempts for 120yds, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
Junior Quarterback Mike Loveless (Nashua, NH) entered the game with 3 minutes remaining in the game, completing 2 passes out of 2 for 13yds. Loveless rushed for 68yds into the endzone for another touchdown for the Lancers, bringing the score to 41-20. Rodriguez-D'Atri's kick was no good.
The Lancers drop to 1-3 (1-1, MASCAC) on the season, while the Corsairs improve to 3-1 (2-0, MASCAC).
