Kevin Fruwirth starts his second season as the quarterbacks coach at Worcester State. He brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge following a standout career at Curry.

After transferring from St. Anselm in his sophomore season, Coach Fruwirth captured All-NEFC honors twice with a First-team Boyd Division nod in 2012 for setting school records in passing yardage (2,770), completions (266) and attempts (457) while also topping the 16-team league with 27 touchdowns.

As a senior captain, Coach Fruwirth was honored as his squads Co-Offensive Player of the Year and he ended his career participating in the National Bowl on the "Red Nation" team. Overall, he ended his Curry career 25th in the Division III New England Football career record book in passer rating, among the Top 20 in touchdowns (51) and with 5,044 yards in 23 games.

A standout in the classroom as well as the gridiron over the course of his career, Coach Fruwirth was a two-time NEFC All-Academic team, a Co-SIDA All-Academic District I First-team recipient in 2012 and a member National Football Foundation Hampshire Society.
