Masterjohn Named To Womensfieldhockey.com Honor Roll

Worcester, MA --- Junior keeper Kat Masterjohn (Warren, MA) has been tabbed to the womensfieldhockey.com Honor Roll for her solid play this past week as the Lancers went 3-0. Masterjohn earned the accolade when the weekly awards come out on Wednesday.

Masterjohn posted a 1.27 goals against average as she stopped 17 of the 20 shots (.850 percent) she saw between the pipes. Masterjohn notched six saves in a 4-2 triumph over WPI, three in a 6-0 shutout over Becker before she capped off the week by turning aside eight shots in a 2-1 overtime triumph over Framingham State.

As of this afternoon, Masterjohn is currently second in the Little East in goals against average (1.04) and save percentage (.848) while the has tallied a trio of shutouts to tie for first in the conference standings. Masterjohn's 56 saves are also tied for fifth-best in the LEC.

The Lancers have won five out of their last six games as they currently are 6-4 and 3-1 in the Little East. They take on conference rival Bridgewater State on tomorrow in a contest that is slated to begin at 11 AM.
