GILBERT, Ariz. - Rachel Hopkins (Chelmsford, Mass.), a senior on the Worcester State University field hockey team, has been named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Honorable Mention. The announcement was made by the NFHCA Wednesday afternoon.  

Hopkins helped the Lancers stay undefeated last week by scoring four goals and one assist, including two game-winning goals against Wellesley and Mount Holyoke. The effort earned Hopkins the LEC’s Offensive Player of the Week award.

Hopkins and the Lancers will look to stay perfect on the season when they head to Springfield College on Thursday evening for a meeting against the Pride.
