
Worcester, MA- For the third straight weeks Men’s Basketball junior forward Aaron Nkrumah (Worcester, MA) has been selected as the MASCAC Player of the Week. Nkrumah had another standout week for the Lancers, nearly going for a triple double in their final home game before the break versus Lasell.
Looking at Nkrumah’s averages for the week, one can see how strong of a week he recorded coming just .5 rebounds away from recording a double-double in stat numbers alone on the week. He Averaged 24.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, three steals and a block while shooting 56 percent 18-32) from the floor in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Had 32 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists in the 79-65 win over Regis. Nkrumah finished with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds with seven assists, three steals and two blocks in the 76-63 win over Lasell. So far this season he has recorded 215 points, 88 rebounds, 35 assists and 27 steals.
The Lancers will return from break on December 29th when they head down to Roanoke College to participate in the Cregger Invitational Tournament, kicking off the tournament when they face off with the hosts, the Roanoke Maroons, at 12pm.
