Schenecdady, N.Y. --- The Rensselaer men's soccer team
claimed the Union Men's Soccer Classic title on Saturday with a 3-0
win over Worcester State at College Park on the campus of Union
College. The Red Hawks won both games during the two day event,

Just over 10 minutes later (59:21), Red Hawks sophomore midfielder
Benjamin Poser (Scotts Valley, CA) connected
on a rebound goal out of a crowd in front.
Playing with a 2-0 advantage RPI continued to pressure and scored
again at 74:28 on a one-time shot by Long, who was fed by freshmen
midfielder Matt Koliopouis (Franklin, MA).
RPI outshot Worcester State, 20-6, including 9-1 on goal. The Red
Hawks also took 10 corners as compared to the Lancers' two.
