Box Score

Worcester, MA --- After 110 scoreless minutes the Worcester State and St. Joseph's of Maine drew to a 0-0 tie after neither team could find the back of the net. With the tie the Lancers now stand at 2-1-2 while the Monks go to 0-2-1.

Worcester State held a 30-13 edge in shots, but both teams were even with both goalies facing six shots on goal. It was a frustrating night for both teams because neither could capitalize on the good field position when they had it.

Freshman Derek Osmond (Rockport, MA) led St Joseph's with four shots on goal while senior Brian Andrade (Hudson, MA) and classmate Constantino Partramanis (Worcester, MA) each tallied a pair of shots on the net.

Sophomore Daniel Hansen (Worcester, MA) finished with six saves between the pipes for the Lancers while his counterpart, Will Pike (Gorham, ME), also stopped six shots for the Monks.

Worcester State will host Southern Maine on Saturday at 2 PM while St. Joseph's will entertain GNAC opponent Lasell on Saturday and Thomas on Sunday. Both games for the Monks will start at 3:30.
