Worcester, MA --- Sophomore goalkeeper Evan Wilga has been named MASCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week after his performance against Salem State this past Saturday.

Wilga, who hails from Dudley, MA, stopped all nine shots that he faced between the pipes to record the double-overtime shutout victory over the Vikings. The win allowed the Lancers to end the season on a high note they won three of their last four matches, following a seven game losing streak and a six contest shutout streak.

Since taking over goalkeeping duties against Becker College on 10/15, Wilga has posted a 3-2 record with two shutouts to go along with 32 saves and a 1.90 goals against average.
