Men's Track Ties For 32nd At ECAC Championships

Springfield, MA --- Sophomore Nate Starling (Braintree, MA) and freshman Todd Paquin (Pelham, NH) each earned All-ECAC honors in their respective events to help the men's outdoor track and field team at the ECAC Championships hosted by Springfield College.

WSC finished the meet with five team points as they tied for 32nd with Alfred, Alverina, Eastern Connecticut, Ursinus and Wheaton. Williams (58) edged out Bates (56) for the men's title.

Paquin capped off his season with a leap of sixth place in the long jump (6.77 meters) while senior Matt Leeds (Bellingham, MA) notched 14th in the same event for a distance of 6.45 meters.

Starling clocked a blistering time of 15.46 in the 110 meter hurdles to be seeded fourth in the finals this afternoon before he finished in seventh today with a season-best time of 15.32.

The ECAC's conclude the season for the men's outdoor track and field team.
