Centerville, MA --- Junior Terrence Gibson (Rockland, MA) has been tabbed Corvais Tri-ECAC Division III New England Athlete of the Week for his outstanding efforts at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational this past weekend.

Gibson placed seventh in the 110 meter hurdles (14.55) while he also won his heat for 15th in the 100 meter (10.85) against outstanding club and Division I competition at the meet.

With his times, Gibson moved up to a tie for third overall in the NCAA Division III in the 110 meters while he is also tied for 29th nationally in the 100 meters.

Gibson shares the Corvais ECAC New England honor with junior Sean Enos (Lynnfield, MA) of Colby and senior Coby Horowitz (Stow, MA) of Bowdoin.

For his efforts on Saturday in Florida, Gibson was also named the MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week.

Gibson looks to return to his second NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship. He was fourth overall in the 110 meter hurdles last season (14.68).
