Men's Cross Country Notches 33rd At UMass Dartmouth

North Dartmouth, MA --- Propelled by freshman Devlin Crawford (Randolph, MA), the men's cross country team came in 33rd at the UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational. Crawford would individually place 179th with a time of 29:02.

Freshman Pat Daley (Millbury, MA) timed 29:31 in 191st followed by classmate Dan Anderson (Millbury, MA) who was right behind in 192nd (29:31). First-year Neil Reilly (Oxford, MA) added 217st (30:48) while teammates Dan Morrissey (Dudley, MA), Zach Creeden (Billerica, MA) and sophomore Tim Mazeika (Millbury, MA) crossed the finish line in 225th (31:06), 226th (31:07) and 234th (32:00), respectively. Junior Eric Thulin (Millbury, MA) rounded out the group by taking home 252nd (34:07).

The top three finishers for the Laners in the sub varsity race were junior Kerry Sabanty (Stoughton, MA) who came in 158th (30:39), freshman Brendon Chaban (Leominster, MA) who added 198th (35:24) and Jeffery Nguyen (Worcester, MA/Doherty) who recorded 202nd (37:24).

Keene State won the team title followed by MIT and Brandeis as Bridgewater State finished in 12th for the highest MASCAC school score.

Worcester State will host the Worcester City Championships next week at Moore State Park in Paxton.
