Men's Cross Country Finishes Season At New England Regionals

Williamstown, MA --- Freshman Pat Daley (Millbury, MA) broke 30 minutes to post a time of 29:09 in 169th out of 332 competitors as the Worcester State men's cross country team finished 40th at the NCAA New England regionals.

Sophomore Tim Mazeika (Millbury, MA) posted a solid time of 30:00 even to place 203rd while classmate Dan Anderson (Sutton, MA) crossed the finish line in 241st (30:55). Freshman Neil Reilly (Oxford, MA) notched 259th and freshman Dan Morrissey (Dudley, MA) was in the top five with a time of 31:41 in 263rd.

Freshman Zach Creeden (Billerica, MA) added 287th (32:57) while sophomore Kerry Sabanty (Stoughton, MA) rounded out the field in 290th (33:04).

Daley's time was the 14th best individual finish among individuals in the MASCAC as MIT earned the team title. Westfield State had the best team finish in the conference in 17th.

The Lancer harriers will take a break until they will compete again at the Smith Invitational on December 11.
