Men's Cross Country Notches 28th At UMass Dartmouth Shriner Invitational

North Dartmouth, MA --- Junior Tim Mazeika (Millbury, MA) placed 121st (27:45) in a field of 255 runners to help lead Worcester State to a finish of 28th place at the 8k UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational this afternoon.

The Lancers had the third-highest finish in among MASCAC schools in attendance at the same course that will host the conference championships next month.

Sophomore Pat Daley (Millbury, MA) was ten places behind Mazeika in 131st (27:56) followed by freshman Patrick Bova's (Princeton, MA) finish of 146th (28:20).

Junior Kerry Sabanty (Stoughton, MA) added 195th while first-year Adam Pepin (Paxton, MA) and sophomore Zach Creeden (Billerica, MA) registered 217th (31:03) and 219th (31:21), respectively.

Next week Worcester State will compete at the Annual Worcester City Meet which will be at Moore State Park in Paxton.
