Men's Cross Country Wraps Up Season At Division III Regional Meet

Brunswick, ME --- Junior Tim Mazeika (Millbury, MA) posted a time of 27:28 win 114th place to help lead Worcester State to a finish of 35th out of 48 teams at the Division III New England regional's on Saturday at Bowdoin's 8k campus course.  Mazieka had the 11th highest finish among individuals in the MASCAC and the 26th best place among Alliance schools.

Williams edged out Middlebury for the team title while the Lancers had 1032 points to their credit. There were 322 competitors in this year's men's race.

Sophomore Pat Daley (Millbury, MA) added 201st (28:35) while freshman Patrick Bova (Princeton, MA) was seven seconds behind in 205th (28:42).

Freshman Adam Pepin (Paxton, MA) and senior Eric Thulin (Millbury, MA) placed 244th (29:38) and 245th (29:40), respectively, as junior Kerry Sabanty (Stoughton, MA) rounded out the group with a time of 30:00 even in 260th.

This meet concludes the season for the men's cross country team.
