Men's Cross Country Wraps Up Season At Division III New England Regionals

 

Westfield, MA --- Senior Tim Mazeika (Millbury, MA) and junior Pat Daley (Millbury, MA) both clocked solid times as they helped lead the Worcester State men's cross country team to 32nd at the Division III New England Championships this afternoon at Stanley Park's 8k course.

Middlebury captured their first-ever regional crown as the Lancers had the fourth-best finish among MASCAC institutions present.

Mazeika placed 177th (28:19) and Daley added 179th (28:21) while their finishes were the 15th and 16th-best among those individually in the conference, respectively.

Sophomore Adam Pepin (Paxton, MA) crossed the line in 215th (29:19) followed by classmates Wesley Hebert (Leominster, MA) (221st - 29:26) and Patrick Bova (Princeton, MA) (225th - 29:32).

Junior Connor O'Neill (Dudley, MA) clocked 229th (29:42) and senior Kerry Sabanty (Stoughton, MA) rounded out the group with 253rd (30:09).

The meet concludes the campaign for the men's cross country squad.
