Men's Cross Country Posts Solid Finish At NCAA Regional Qualifier

 

Adams, MA --- Freshman Jason Bangs (Charlton, MA) had a strong performance for the the Worcester State men's cross country team, who placed 44th overall at the NCAA New England Regional Qualifier on Saturday afternoon at Mount Greylock.

The season-ending meet for the Lancers featured 54 scoring instutions and 373 entrants on the 8k course.

Bangs was the top finisher for the Blue and Gold with 232nd (29:31.9) followed by senior Patrick Scheeler (Wakefield, MA) who was right behind in 238th (29:36.1) and senior Adam Pepin (Paxton, MA) crossed the line, finishing 256th (29:50.2).

Freshman Devin Luce (Milford, MA), senior Will Whearty (Walpole, MA) and freshman Daniel Brunelle (Dracut, MA) placed 274th (30:14.7), 279th (30:19.5), and 323rd (31:26.1), respectively.
