Kelly Named ECHA Player of the Week

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team had one named to the ECHA Player of the Week after their games versus Western New England and first conference match-up of the season with Anna Maria College this past week. Graduate student Kylian Kelly (Shrewsbury, MA) was integral in helping the Lancers to a 2-0-1 week in action packed game play.

The graduate defender recorded a two assist and one goal week for the Lancers in their triple game action. Kelly recorded two assists versus ECHA rival Anna Maria College, including a key assist on the eventual game winner last Tuesday. On Friday night Kelly was the one responsible for tapping in the game winner over Western New England. She ended the week at +3 for her time on the ice. Kelly has now recorded 2 career goals, one game winner, and 26 assists in her career as a Lancer.  

The Lancers are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they host an ECHA matchup with Assumption University at 3:20pm at the Fidelity Bank Ice Arena.
