Pacific Named ECHA Goaltender of the Week

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team has had one selected in this weeks ECHA weekly honors. First year Lana Pacific (Marlboro, MA) was selected as the Goaltender of the Week for the ECHA conference.

Pacific picks up Goaltender of the Week honors after a 21 save shutout versus Anna Maria on Saturday night in the conference battle. The Lancers came away with a 3-0 victory over the AMCATs for Pacific’s second shutout of the season. She currently has a .972 save percentage on the season and both of her wins this season have come by shutouts with an additional tie on her season record.

The Lancers are back in action this Friday when they host Johnson and Wales (RI) at the Fidelity Bank Ice Center at 7:10pm.
