Wozniak Named ECHA Player of the Week

Worcester, MA- After a three-game week for the Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team, senior forward Cassidhe Wozniak (Turner Falls, MA) was named the ECHA Player of the Week. Helping the team go 1-2 and grabbing a win over Arcadia University on their weekend Pennsylvania road trip grabbed Wozniak the top honor.

Wozniak had a four-goal weekend for the Lancers. Wozniak scored two goals in a 4-3 win over the Knights of Arcadia University and followed it with both Lancer goals on Saturday afternoon. Wozniak currently leads the Lancers in goals with 11. Wozniak has also recorded three assists on the season for 14 points and three power play goals, two of which came on the weekend.

Worcester State is back in action tonight at 6:10pm when they host the new England College Pilgrims in their return action of 2024 to the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice center.
