Feeley Selected ECAC Division III New England All-Star

Worcester, MA --- Senior attacker Shannon Feeley (W. Springfield, MA) has been tabbed to the ECAC Division III New England All-Star second team this week as announced by Communications Assistant Tristan Durgin.

Feeley, a four-time all NEWLA selection and first team honoree this past year, paced the Lancers offensively this season with team-highs of 49 goals and 23 assists for a total of 72 points. Feeley also finished the year as WSC's all-time leading assist leader as she dished out 88 assists while she finished her outstanding career second on the all-time scoring list with 241 points and 164 tallies.

Feeley was also third in the NEWLA in points per game (5.93), fourth in goals per game (3.92) and fifth in assists per game (1.92). Feeley also totaled three game-winning goals and she scooped up 21 ground balls.

Feeley was one of six players from the NEWLA that included junior Shannon Manning and sophomore teammates Jenny Jones and Erin Quimbley of Bridgewater State along with third-year Laura Chiricosta of Westfield State and second-year Marie VanDerKar of Castleton State.

Ann Clark is the only other Lancer to be honored as an ECAC All-Star as she received the nod in 2006 and 2007.

Worcester State ended their season at 7-7 and 4-3 in the NEWLA under the guidance of third year head coach Deb Draper. WSC bowed out to Emerson College in the quarterfinals of the ECAC New England Tournament.
