
Worcester, Mass., - The Worcester State University Lancers were trumped by the Owls of Westfield State University in women's lacrosse action on Tuesday night in Westfield, MA. The Owls outscored the Lancers by a score of 18-8 over four quarters.

- Lily Gendron (Lakeville, MA) led the Lancer offense with 3 goals and one assist.
- Julia Ravenelle (Barrington, NH) had two goals and one assist
- Clare Conway (Billerica, MA) notched two goals
- Hannah Erickson (Dunstable, MA) had a goal and an assist
- Ashley Hurley (Agawam, MA) and Abby Lauzon (Lakeville, MA) had one assist a piece.
Worcester led the contest in draw controls with 18. Abby Lauzon led the Lancers in draw controls with six, while Hannah Erickson had five.
Lily Gendron led the Lancers with four ground balls, while goalkeeper Savanna Rosado (Milford, MA) had five saves and two ground balls.
Worcester was 1-for-3 on free position shots, while the Owls were 2-for-5.
The 11-5 Owls remain undefeated in MASCAC play with their victory over the 9-7 Lancers (4-2, MASCAC).
The Lancers will return to action at Bridgewater State on Saturday, April 30th for a 7:00pm start in their final regular season contest of the year.
