
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse’s Lily Gendron has been named to the IWLCA 2023 Senior All-Star Game. Gendron is the first Worcester State Lacrosse player to be honored with the selection to participate in the annual event.
Every year the IWLCA celebrates the graduating class by hosting the Senior All-Star Weekend. This event is an opportunity for the best of the senior class to compete on the field with, and against, former rivals & teammates. Held on Tierney Field in front of the IWLCA Building at US Lacrosse Headquarters, this event is great way to say 'Thank You' to those players who have dedicated themselves to the betterment of women's collegiate lacrosse.
The IWLCA has announced the rosters for the 2023 Senior All-Star games for Division I, II, and III. The players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: North and South. The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 3, 2023. The Division II teams will play the first game at 10:00 am ET, the Division III game will follow at 12:15 pm, and the Division I teams will cap off the event with their game at 2:30 pm. Admission for all three games is free of charge and will not be streamed this year.
Gendron concluded her senior year with a career 93 goals, 37 assists and 130 points to go along with her 168 draw controls.
