Worcester, MA- For the fourth time this season, Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse first year Madigan Kelley (Bourne, MA) has been tabbed as the conference rookie of the week in the final week of awards.
Kelley tallied two assists. five ground balls, six draw controls and four caused turnovers in a 1-1 week during the MASCAC Tournament. Had five draws, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the 17-7 quarterfinal win over Salem State. Added five ground balls, four caused turnovers and a draw in the 22-10 semifinal setback to Westfield State.
Kelley ended the season with 14 goals and 15 assists for 29 points. Collecting 28 ground balls with 56 draw controls and 11 caused turnovers.
