Buzzards Bay, MA --- Freshman forward Gaby Gonet has been named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week as she helped guide the Lancers with five points in a 2-0 week for Worcester State.
Gonet, a native of Agawam, MA, helped jump start the Blue and Gold with a marker in a 3-0 triumph over Plymouth State before she capped off the week with a tally and the game-winning helper in a 2-1 victory over Framingham State.
Gonet is currently tied for the MASCAC lead in goals (4) and points (10) as the women's soccer team is 4-2-2 overall and unbeaten in conference play at 1-0-1.
The Lancers will play Keene State tomorrow at 7 PM before they entertain Bridgewater State on Saturday at 1 o'clock.
