Northampton, MA --- Freshman Alyssa Jasper (Rockland, MA) just missed All Division III New England honors with a finish of ninth place in the indoor pentathlon as she scored 2,920 points on the first day of the championships hosted by Smith.

Jasper would start off the meet with personal-best times in the 60 meter hurdles (10.11 - 10th overall) and high jump (1.22m/4-6.75 - T16th) before she tossed the fourth-highest distance in the shot put with 11.19 meters (36-8.50).

Jasper would also chalk up 4.82 meters (15-9.75 - 9th) in the long jump and wrap-up the day with a split of 2:37.06 in the 800 meters (10th). She was only 60 points off from earning All-New England accolades.
