Worcester, MA- Worcester State Women’s Indoor Track jumper, junior Eryca Lopes (Ayer, MA) was named the MASCAC Field Athlete of the Week after her top performance at the Lyon Invitational this past Saturday.
Lopes placed first in the long jump with a leap of 4.99m to distance herself from the field. She additionally finished third in the triple jump with a jump marked at 9.68m.
Lopes is back in action on Friday, January 27th when the Women’s Indoor Track team competes at the UMass-Boston/UMass-Lowell Invitational at the New Balance Track in Boston.
