Worcester, MA --- Freshman Mara Kralian has been selected this week's Female MASCAC Field Athlete of the Week after her outstanding performance at the Worcester City Meet this past weekend.
Kralian, a native of Grafton, MA, picked up right where she left off from the indoor season as she placed second in the long jump (5.05 meters), the triple jump (10.32 m), the 100 meter dash (12.99) and the 200 (27.13) while also helping the 4 x 100 meter relay team break the school record with a first place time of 51.25. In all four events Kralian qualified for the Division III New England Regional's as well as stamping her ticket for the ECACs in the long jump.
Sophomore Andrea Ouellette (Salisbury, MA) was also distinguished on the Female MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week honor roll after she took home second place finishes in the 100 (17.60) and 400 (1:13.96) meter hurdles, respectively.
The Women's Outdoor Track and Field team will compete again this weekend at the Fitchburg Invitational on Saturday.
