Worcester State Men's Golf Finishes Fourth in MASCAC Preseason Poll

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Golf team has been tapped fourth in the MASCAC Preseason Coaches Poll as voted on by the conference coaches.

Claiming the top spot was Salem State with four first place votes for 16 points with Springfield, 12 points, and Westfield, 11 points, grabbing second and third and sharing the last two first place votes.

Worcester State is tabbed to finish fourth with 6 points. Leading the Lancers during the 2022 Championship was Patrick Rennie who finished in 15th place with a two-day score of 166 (80-86).

Wrapping up the final is MCLA with 5 points.

Over the next few weeks, the MASCAC men’s golf teams will get the 2023 season started which culminates in the MASCAC Championship on September 30-October 1 hosted by Salem State at Beverly Golf Course in Beverly, Mass.
