Norton, MA --- Sophomore classmates Mara
Kralian (N. Grafton, MA) and Nicole
Lemelin (Beverly, MA) along with freshman
teammates Briana Wise (Worcester,
MA/Doherty) and Mercedes Arnold (Mira Loma,
CA) eclipsed the school record in the 4x200 relay team with a time
of 1:48.61 as they crossed the finish line in third at the Wheaton
Invitational.
Williams won the meet with a point total of 163.66 followed by
Tufts (103), Stonehill (81) and Wheaton (58) while the Lancers came
in fifth overall with 45.33 points.
Kralian had a solid meet ash she placed second in the 55 meter dash
(7.38) while Lemilin notched second in the 200 (27.80). Chude also
distinguished herself by notching second in the shot put (11.18
meters) and sixth in the 55 meter hurdles (9.72).
In the field, junior Christina Bisbee (N.
Attleboro, MA) had a toss of 13.03 meters while Walczak cleared
sixth in the high jump (1.48m) and finished the meet taking home
seventh in the 400 (1:02.58).
Sophomore Mercedes Arnold (Mira Loma, CA) leaped
fourth in the long jump (5.07m) and sixth in the triple jump
(10.53m) as freshman Rose Mathieu (Somerville, MA)
tallied 10th (4.65m) in the long jump and 200 (28.40).
Junior Andrea Ouellette (Salisbury, MA) added a
fifth place performance in the triple jump (10.54m) while
first-year Erin Donohue (Saugus, MA) capped off
the meet with seventh in the mile run (5:38.44).
