Wise, Medley Relay Set New School Mark At Terrier Invitational

Boston, MA --- With a fourth-place time of 25.05, junior Briana Wise (Worcester, MA/Burncoat) has eclipsed her previous school mark in the 200 meters to help pace the women's indoor track and field team at the Boston University Terrier Invitational.

Also leading the way was senior Mara Kralian (N. Grafton, MA) who added a 12th place time of 25.68 while classmate Sarah Rafferty (Uxbridge, MA) recorded 43rd (26.46).

Freshman teammates Liz Bodensieck (Raynham, MA), Brittany Hodgerney (Leicester, MA), Alyssa Jasper (Rockland, MA) and Therese Morss (Marion, MA) all placed 56th (26.73), 57th (26.79), 64th (26.89) and 96th (27.72), respectively. Sophomore Alexandria McMahon (E. Longmeadow, MA) rounded out the group with a time of 27.86 in 101st.

Wise established a new time in the 200 when she clocked 25.56 last month at the Harvard Open. She was ranked the top 200 meter runner in Division III entering the competition today with her previous mark.

The distance medley relay team comprised of sophomores Kelsey Cartwright (Bridgewater, MA), Megan Taylor (Danvers, MA), Alison Hickey (Easton, MA) and junior Erin Donohue (Saugus, MA) established a new school mark of 13:12.61.
