Grinnell, IA --- Junior Briana Wise (Worcester, MA/Burncoat) clocked a time of 7.81 for 12th place in the 60 meter dash as she wrapped up a tremendous indoor track and field season at the NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Championships held at Grinnell College.

Wise was only .01 of a second off from qualifying for tmorrow's finals as the time of 7.80 came down to a three-way tie-breaker for eighth. Wise had run in the fifth lane out of the second heat and was seeded 13th overall entering the meet.

Wise, the first WSU female student-athlete to compete at the NCAA Division III indoor meet since 2006, was also the lone representative from New England in the 60 meter field.
