Bristol, MA --- Freshman Maura Withington (Walpole, MA) capped off a sensational rookie year campaign with a 43rd place finish with a time of 25:12 at the ECAC Championships this afternoon held at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI.
NESCAC foes Williams, Amherst and Middlebury took the top three spots while the Lancers finished in 22nd out of 42 teams with 652 points, just behind Westfield's 21st finish (649) and ahead of Clarks respectable 33rd spot (843).
Junior Kara Antrim (Rowley, MA) covered the six kilometer course in 25:36 for 61st while freshman Meg Plant (Franklin, MA) took 138th (27:16). Sophomore Rachael Sullivan (Ipswich, MA) placed 200th while freshman Rachael Baker (Mystic, CT) crossed the line in 253rd with a time of 30:27
