Springfield, MA --- Worcester State placed 24th with 3 team points coming by way of sixth place in the 4x400 meter relay at the Division III Championships hosted by Springfield College.
Freshmen teammates Devlin Crawford (Braintree, MA), Ramses Rafael (Lawrence, MA) and Kevin Maciel (Tewksbury, MA) along with senior RJ Stahelski (S. Deerfield, MA) clocked 3:28.59.
Stahelski also placed ninth in the 600 meter run (1:25.03) while sophomore Todd Paquin (Pelham, NH) added ninth in the long jump (6.40 meters).
First-year Andrew Johnson (Thompson, CT) added 15th in the high jump (1.88m) as freshman Julio Arzu (Lynn, MA) and Crawford placed 13th and 21st, respectively, in the 55 (6.75) and 400 (52.60).
Sophomore Harrison McCann (Rutland, MA) rounded out the individual finishers with 23rd in the weight throw (13.89m).
Next weekend select competators will participate in the Open New England Championships hosted by Boston University.
