Worcester senior midfielder Julia Ravenelle would cut the lead in half just 15 seconds later on a Lily Gendron (Lakeville, MA) feed. Junior Emily Pavoni (Granby, MA), tied up the game with 19 seconds remaining in the first quarter and the Lancers never looked back.

Pavoni would score the first goal of the second quarter on a feed from senior attack Clare Conway (Billerica, MA). Then Conway notched one of her own on a pass from Ravenelle to cap off the Lancers four-goal run.

The Buccaneers tallied their 3rd of the game in the 24th-minute of play before Lancer's junior Shea Jarvis (Auburn, MA) scored back-to-back tallies for the home team. Gendron notched another before Conway added two more of her own.
