WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University's junior Nathalie Khafaga (Auburn, Mass.) has been named to the Little East Conference (LEC) All-Conference Singles Second Team, as announced by the league Tuesday (Oct. 24) afternoon.
Khafaga went 7-8 overall (3-5 LEC) in singles play.
The major LEC women's tennis awards were handed out to Rhode Island College's senior Dayna Reilly who was tabbed the LEC women's tennis player of the year for the second consecutive year. Plymouth State's freshman Sage Winter was named the league's rookie of the year, while Adam Spring of Rhode Island College was named the 2017 LEC women's tennis coach of the year for helping his team to a 16-0 overall record and going undefeated in the conference.
