Women's Indoor Track ECAC Championship Highlights

Boston, MA --- Junior Kara Antrim (Rowley, MA) placed eighth to earn All-ECAC honors with a time of 3:07.15 in the 1000 meter run to help the Worcester State womens indoor track and field team finish with tie in 48th on the second day of the ECAC Championships hosted by Tufts.

On the mens side their lone competator junior James Macera (Paxton, MA) tossed 16th in the weight throw (47-05.75).

On the first day for the women, the 4x200 meter relay team of freshman teammates Mara Kralian (Grafton, MA), Kristina Lisacki (Woburn, MA), Sarah Rafferty (Uxbridge, MA) along with sophomore Becky Galipeau (Bellingham, MA) placed 15th with a time of 1:51.01.

Sophomore Andrea Ouellette (Salisbury, MA) also notched 14th for WSC in the triple jump with a leap of 35-04.00 feet.

This meet concludes the season for both track and field squads. The outdoor season begins on March 28 when the Lancers head to WPI for the Worcester City Championships.
